At Stephenson Way Academy and Nursery School, we work very hard with parents to ensure that children attend school as often as possible. In the photograph above you can see part of our huge display in the hall which records each year group's attendance progress. Each week top attending year groups receive an egg for their nest. At the end of the term, the year group with the most eggs wins a prize for everybody in that year group, for example: a disco or a bouncy castle for the day!
Can you help your year group collect the most eggs to win a prize?
If any parents are worried about attendance issues or are having difficulty in getting their child to school regularly and on time, please contact Mr Jones or Mrs Hunter and we will be more than happy to speak with you. Problems with attendance can result from a variety of issues, but with support improvements can always be made.
